Mindfulness for life

Mindfulness for Life: An Eight Week Course based on the Western mindfulness tradition, as well as elements of the Plum Village Approach developed by Thich Nhat Hanh and the monastics of Plum Village.
As adults we often get caught up in past events, or worry about things yet to happen, all the while missing out on the joys of the everyday. This eight week course in Mindfulness for Life will teach you to live in the present, enabling you to become more resilient, less stressed, more self-aware and ultimately more in control of the direction in which you wish to take your life.

Mindfulness for Life is an in-depth dive into mindfulness that draws on the best practices from Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and the Western mindfulness tradition, as well as elements of the Plum Village Approach to mindfulness, developed by Thich Nhat Hanh and the monastics of Plum Village.
Mindfulness for Life will teach you techniques that you can incorporate into your daily life, enabling you to live more mindfully.

You will learn to use breath-work to become more present, making it easier to face challenging emotions, improve your communication and to live a richer, more rewarding life.

Whether you are a complete beginner or a seasoned practitioner who would like to pick up some new techniques, this course is open to all. The course can also be offered to schools as part of a wellbeing program for staff.
