Mindfulness for Life
As adults we often get caught up in past events, or worry about things yet to happen, all the while missing out on the joys of the everyday. My 8 week Mindfulness course will teach you to live in the present, enabling you to become more resilient, less stressed, more self-aware and ultimately more in control of the direction you wish your life to take.

Mindfulness for Life is an in-depth introduction to mindfulness that draws on the best practices from Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and the Western mindfulness tradition as well as integrating elements of the Plum Village Approach to mindfulness developed by Thich Nhat Hanh and the monastics of Plum Village.

A core aspect of the course will teach you techniques to incorporate into your daily life which will enable you to live more mindfully. I will help you to use the breath to become more present, thus making it easier to face challenging emotions, improve your communication and live a richer, more rewarding life.

Whether you are a complete beginner or a seasoned practitioner who would like to pick up some new techniques this course is open to all. I can also offer this in schools as part of a Wellbeing program for staff.

Why Choose Mindful Meerkat?
Jo's Mindfulness course was just what I needed in order to bring more balance into my life. I was experiencing lots of negative voices coupled with a change of direction in my life and the methods that she taught have helped enormously. By putting things in perspective and giving us simple, practical tools with which to tackle our thoughts and emotions is something everyone can learn and benefit from. You have absolutely nothing to lose and everything to gain by attending her course.
